Biography

Mr. Geffin graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. While there, he was an editor of the University of Miami Law Review, treasurer of the Student Bar Association, member of the Bar and Gavel Honor Society, named to the Dean's List and, perhaps most significantly, winner of the First Year Moot Court Competition. Mr. Geffin's legal experience commenced when he served as judicial intern to Judge Natalie Baskin of the Third District Court of Appeal. After Law School, he practiced at Fine Jacobson Schwartz Nash and Block and, thereafter, at Zack Sparber Kosnitzky Spratt & Brooks, P.A. In February, 2000, Alan Geffin, Gary Brooks and Bruce Hermelee formed Brooks Hermelee & Geffin (later Hermelee & Geffin) where Mr. Geffin practiced until 2012. At that time, Mr. Geffin and Mr. Perez-Gurri formed GPG LAW. Mr. Geffin has represented clients in all facets of commercial litigation. He has represented fortune 500 companies and sole proprietorships.
