Alan G. Geffin, ESQ.
Mr. Geffin graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. While there, he was an editor of the University of Miami Law Review, treasurer of the Student Bar Association, member of the Bar and Gavel Honor Society, named to the Dean's List and, perhaps most significantly, winner of the First Year Moot Court Competition. Mr. Geffin's legal experience commenced when he served as judicial intern to Judge Natalie Baskin of the Third District Court of Appeal. After Law School, he practiced at Fine Jacobson Schwartz Nash and Block and, thereafter, at Zack Sparber Kosnitzky Spratt & Brooks, P.A. In February, 2000, Alan Geffin, Gary Brooks and Bruce Hermelee formed Brooks Hermelee & Geffin (later Hermelee & Geffin) where Mr. Geffin practiced until 2012. At that time, Mr. Geffin and Mr. Perez-Gurri formed GPG Law. Mr. Geffin has represented clients in all facets of commercial litigation. He has represented fortune 500 companies and sole proprietorships.

Christopher J. Perez-Gurri, ESQ.
Mr. Perez-Gurri was born in Miami, Florida and obtained his high school diploma from Christopher Columbus High School. He then attended and graduated from the University of Michigan (2002) with a degree in Political Science. Thereafter, Mr. Perez-Gurri attended and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law (2006) where he was a four semester scholarship student. While in law school, Mr. Perez-Gurri earned the Book Award for the highest grade in legal research and writing. He is a member of The Florida Bar (2006) and has been admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida. He has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice in the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Perez-Gurri's legal experience commenced when he started working with Mr. Geffin at Brooks Hermelee Geffin in 2000. He worked with that firm through his graduation from law school. After graduating Mr. Perez-Gurri worked as an associate with Hermlee Geffin, LLC. Then, in 2011, Mr. Perez-Gurri and Mr. Geffin formed GPG Law. His practice areas include commercial litigation, construction litigation, complex litigation, probate litigation, family law, appellate law, cyber stalking and harassment law, and contract drafting. Mr. Perez-Gurri also provides general cousel services to several South Florida companies.

Susan Geffin was born in Montreal, Canada. She, however, considers herself a native Floridian because she was raised and attended school on Miami Beach. She graduated from Florida International University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and earned a Master’s Degree Summa Cum Laude in Reading shortly thereafter. After teaching elementary school for 10 years, she focused on raising her and Mr. Geffin’s three children and on pursuing a career in Real Estate. Although Ms. Geffin is still a licensed Real Estate Agent, she spends most of the work day managing GPG Law. She is responsible for the firm’s billing and day-to-day administrative functions.
Jeanine Perez-Gurri, wife to Christopher Perez-Gurri, joined GPG Law in 2013. Jeanine is a certified paralegal with over 7 years of experience. Her duties include, among other things, researching, organizing & maintaining electronic case files, electronic discovery and assisting in the preparation of legal documents. Dorothy Pitcher has been a legal assistant primarily in litigation for more than 30 years. She has extensive experience in all facets of working within a law firm, including the preparation of legal documents for filing with the Courts, scheduling of hearings and depositions and assisting attorneys.
Mindy Greenburg is a receptionist and administrative secretary at GPG Law since 2011. She provides secretarial, administrative, and clerical support to all staff. Her duties also include data entry, purchasing, and billing.
